What is the length of rental?
Rental rates are not charged per day. We usually drop off our rentals the day before your event and pick them up the day after your event. If you need items longer, please let us know and we can make arrangements.

When should I reserve?
You should reserve as early as possible. Rentals are reserved on a first come basis.

 

Am I able to make changes or cancellations?
After placing a reservation, you are not locked into your order. You can make changes if you are unsure on your numbers or if ideas change. I ask that orders be finalized 14 days before delivery or pickup. This will reduce the likelihood of errors that can result from last minute changes. Additions to orders are allowed but will be subject to availability.

 

Can you setup the Field Day equipment for me?
Setup services are available for an additional charge and should be arranged in advance. 

 

What is included in the Field Day kit? 
The Field Day kit has equipment and lesson plans for 15 different activities. Tug of war, sack race, 3-legged race, jump rope contest, hula hoop contest, sponge/bucket relay, egg on a spoon relay, walking stilt relay, cup stack relay, dizzy bat relay, baton relay, balloon toss, egg toss (optional), 40-yard dash, wheelbarrow race, and a small parachute. 

What kind of parties work great with the Field Day kit? The Field Day kit is great for any occasion. We have had clients rent it for kid's birthdays, team building events, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts outings, homeschool co-ops, summer camps, teacher field day parties, neighborhood get togethers, family reunions, school's out days, sports team celebrations, and even adult field day parties.

What is my responsibility when I return my rentals? Please count and make sure all the equipment is accounted for before placing everything back in the kit. Please notify me if something breaks so I can ensure it gets replaced. You do not have to re-organize the kit after you are done. I will take care of that myself after pickup. If you use the sponges, please wring them out and allow to dry if possible. If you don't have time for them to dry, please place them inside a plastic bag so they don't soak the rest of the equipment.  

 

Do I need to clean rented items before returning them?
I understand that the equipment will get dirty but please make sure it is not soiled with mud. Try to avoid getting the equipment wet but if it does get wet, please make sure it dries before packing it back in the kit.

 

How does delivery and pickup work?
Free delivery is offered if a Field Day kit is rented, and you are located within 15 miles of the 33635 area code. Free delivery is also offered if you rent over $125.00 on yard games/sport packages and are located within 15 miles of the 33635 area code. Delivery fee for customers outside of the 15 miles will be $30.00 and your order must include at least $70.00 in rentals. Someone should be available to accept deliveries and sign contract and waiver forms.

 

Can a customer pickup and return items?
If customers wanted to rent a few yard games that don't qualify for free shipping they are more than welcome to pickup and return their rentals during working hours which are 9:00-6:00. Reach out in advance and we can arrange this.

 

Do I need to clean and re-organize the Field Day kit after our party?
You do not need to re-organize the kit. Please just squeeze out any sponges and try to let dry if possible. If that is not possible, please place them in one of the included smaller buckets or a plastic bag.
 
How far in advance can I hold a date?
We currently schedule out 12 months in advance.

 

Do I have to use these at my house?
No. You can use them at the park, a recreation center, your friend’s house or any other location you would like to host your party. We’ll just need the address of where the party will take place and also your personal address. 

 

Do you work with event planners or other businesses and organizations?
We would love to work with other businesses and organizations. 

 

How much does it cost to rent games?
The prices vary for each game. You can find them all in one spot on Our Rentals page.

 

Can I keep games overnight?
We usually drop off our rentals the day before your event and pick them up the day after your event so having them overnight is allowed.

 

What kinds of games do you rent?
We offer a variety of yard games, different sport packages and our best seller, the Field Day kit. You can see a full list on Our Rentals page. If you don’t see what you are looking for let us know and we can possibly help you out.

 

What if I want to try a game I don’t know how to play?
Every one of games and packages are easy to use. Plus, we provide instructions and rules for each rental.

 

How do you clean the games after they are used?
Depending on the game or material we make sure all our rentals are cleaned properly before we rent them out. If your rental gets dirty while you are using it, we just ask that you get it cleaned to where it was when you received it from us. 

 

What kind of deposits do you charge?
At this time we don’t ask for a deposit. We give two options to pay for your order. You can pay through Venmo, sending payment to @thefielddayexperience or you can pay with cash on delivery. 

 

What happens if I lose a piece, or the games get damaged or stolen?
We understand accidents happen. We also know that as the games are played, they experience normal wear and tear. However, if you lose a piece, the game will need to be replaced before we can rent it out again and if a game is damaged beyond reasonable repair you will be responsible for replacing the game. 

 

How do I pay?
Once we’ve confirmed your reservation request with you, we will send you an invoice and rental agreement. Once you have responded to the invoice, we give two options to pay for your order. You can pay through Venmo, sending payment to @thefielddayexperience or you can pay with cash on delivery.
